SELECTED WRITING

My writing explores relationships between landscape, memory, ecology and material culture, moving between architectural research, critical essay and personal reflection. Through writing, I examine how places carry histories, how environments shape human experience, and how traces of the past persist within landscapes, objects and everyday practices.

MIYAZAKI: BETWEEN SHRINE AND SEA

An ongoing book-length work exploring landscape, ritual, memory and material culture in Miyazaki, Japan. Developed through fieldwork, walking, conversation and reflection, these excerpts trace the spaces between mythology, place and lived experience.

ESSAYS AND CRITICISM

A selection of critical essays on architecture, ecology, memory and representation.
